Simon Rowland's Walk of Faith

Simon Rowland, 76, has been part of our congregation for several years. He has always been an overcomer, even since birth. Simon was born with Cerebral Palsy, a muscular impairing condition, and has continued to thrive despite having to walk with a walker. He was married for 45 years and has one son. Betty Rowland, his loving wife, also had cerebral palsy and sadly passed away on October 7, 2014. God has been speaking to Simon for a little while about stepping out in faith and believing for more. Today, beginning at 6:00am, Simon is walking 6 MILES in order to fulfill the call that God is placing on his life. As a church, we will be alongside Simon the entire way and will be raising funds to support this mission. All proceeds will go to BGMC, Light for the Lost, and other various needs at Freedom Fellowship in Dundee, FL.
